Tutoring (Face-to-Face and Online)

In my tutoring sessions, I specialise in supporting students who struggle with reading, writing, and spelling, whether or not they have a dyslexia diagnosis. I use a bespoke, structured, and sequential program tailored to each student's needs, with consistent and continuous evaluations of their progress. The program breaks down literacy skills into manageable steps, progressing from basic to advanced, with mastery ensured at each level to aid in understanding and retention. Explicit teaching, with clear explanations, modelling, and guided practice, ensures that concepts are fully grasped. Additionally, repetition and overlearning reinforce skills through systematic review for long-term retention. Ultimately, my goal is to equip students with both academic and life skills, fostering independence and motivation for success in school and beyond.

Face-to-Face Tutoring

I offer one-to-one specialised tuition tailored to your child's unique needs.

I offer 1:1 tuition at the student's school during the school day, tailoring lessons based on assessments to fit each student's unique needs and learning style. My 50-minute sessions are fun and interactive, using multisensory activities to build strengths, boost confidence, and enhance motivation. I also provide half-termly progress reports to keep parents informed of their child's development.
